Abstract

|
연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 간호근무환경, 환자안전문화, 낙상예방활동의 정도를 알고 낙상예방활동에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하고자 함이다.
연구방법: B 광역시에 있는 병·의원, 종합병원, 상급종합병원 총 8개 기관을 임의 선정한 후 177명의 간호사를 대상으로 하였으며, 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS statistics 26.0 program을 이용하여 분석하였다.
연구결과: 낙상예방활동은 간호근무환경(r=.25, p=.001)과 환자안전문화(r=.49, p<.001)와 유의한 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 낙상예방활동에 유의하게 영향을 미친 요인은 수련병원 유무(β=.21, p=.006)와 환자안전문화(β=.47, p<.001)로 나타났다.
결론: 본 연구는 간호사의 낙상예방활동에 환자안전문화가 중요하다는 것을 보여주며 이는 향후 의료기관 내 낙상예방을 위한 방안 및 전략을 마련하는데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이리라 기대한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of nursing work environment and patient safety culture on fall prevention activities among hospital nurses.
Methods: The participants were 177 nurses working at eight hospitals including clinics, general hospitals, and tertiary care hospitals located in B city. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test. Pearson’s correlation coefficients, and hierarchical multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 26.0.
Results: Fall prevention activities were positively correlated with nursing work environment (r=.25, p=.001) and patient safety culture (r=.49, p<.001). Fall prevention activities were found to be significantly affected by patient safety culture (β=.47, p<.001) and being a training hospital (β=.21, p=.006).
Conclusion: The findings from this study indicate that patient safety culture is associated with fall prevention activities. In order to increase fall prevention activities, it is important to improve patient safety culture. Additionally, the health care organization should develop programs to increase fall prevention activities.
